Information systems research workshops

Focused research meetings offer a different setting from flagship conferences: discussion of developing papers, feedback on early ideas, and contact with a particular research community. This selection brings together research workshops, paper-development meetings, colloquia, and symposia or research days from the directory. Relevant adjacent disciplines are included where their research fit is stated; this is not a ranking.

Choose a setting for your work

Look beyond attendance size. A paper-development meeting, a methods workshop, and a university research day can serve different purposes. Read the research-fit and access notes, then check the organizer's call for papers for eligible topics, submission requirements, and whether participation is open or invitation-only.

Check the edition before planning

A recurring workshop is worth following even when its next edition has not been announced. Watchlist entries retain historical context, not a promise of future dates, hosts, or fees.
